Ad Iron (Adam Canales)

Founder / Head Personal Trainer

Ad Iron has over 7 years’ experience as a personal trainer and over 11 years’ experience training in the gym. His passion for fitness started with bodybuilding, and after many years of experience he took his workouts to a new level, training in CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. After working as a personal trainer at Steve Nash Fitness World, Ad started his own business called Ad Iron Fitness in 2018. His exercise programs are a fun combination of bodybuilding, functional training and performance. Ad also has an extensive portfolio of clients with a wide variety of goals such as gaining muscle, losing weight, increasing performance and improving functionality.

Eduardo has over 3 years’ experience as a personal trainer and over 15 years’ experience training in the gym. He has worked alongside Ad Iron since the founding of Ad Iron Fitness and has since acquired experience training clients with a wide variety of goals such as gaining muscle, losing weight, increasing performance and improving functionality. Eduardo is passionate about fitness and is as tough in his workout sessions as he is sweet.

Glen Ritchie

Personal Trainer

Glen started lifting weights from the age of 15 and adapted a committed ‘gym goers’ lifestyle ever since. He has a background in engineering, however in 2021 he decided to put his gym skills to use professionally and made the change to a fitness professional. Glen has extensive experience in bodybuilding and powerlifting, and believes in a free weight approach to weightlifting.

Josh Smith

My name is Josh Smith, and I am a Personal Trainer/Nutrition Coach!

I started my fitness journey because I was not happy with how I physically looked in the mirror, no confidence. I started out by creating the habit of going to the gym and incorporating it in my daily routine. Some days would be weights and others just cardio. Creating the habit of just going into the gym was my focus. Weeks turned into months then years, with more and more results weekly! I have successfully created healthy habits, gained muscle/ lost fat all over, and I entered my first bodybuilding competition 2022. Nutrition got better, eating more protein and veggies, less overly processed and chemical foods. Remember, food is 80% of the battle.

Mark Lopez

Hi, I’m Mark Lopez

I grew up in the Philippines. I played many sports growing up, such as basketball, soccer, and baseball. When I was 16, I moved to Vancouver and continued to play basketball. I first stepped foot in the gym at 18 years old and never looked back. 

After attending University, I continued to stay active and did three years of boxing and Muay Thai Kickboxing. I currently powerlift as I love the feeling of being strong!

Throughout my few years of training others, I have helped many men and women build muscle and strength in their fitness journeys.

I specialize in building muscle and strength and love seeing people get strong. I’ve made it my mission to help as many individuals as possible to reach their fitness goals and beyond. I firmly believe that the fit version of yourself increases your quality of life and your capacity for life.
